Welcome to the Crapheap Challenge 2008 - a ten-day roadtrip that went around France and into Italy in the summer of 2008 with the intention of raising money and awareness for the Naomi House Children's Hospice.
About... Starting the 1st August 2008, our group of friends bought old cars and we drove down through France, passing Monaco, ending up at Albenga in Italy - camping, partying and having a great time along the way... whilst trying to keep the cars going! We are pleased to announce that we all got home safe and well with minimal problems with the cars! Any problems were caught on camera and can be viewed in the up-coming episodes on our YouTube channel - youtube.com/crapheaptv
For a good cause... Sponsored by Davtee Ltd, Coba Graphics, Limehouse Graphics, Fast Films, friends and family we intended on raising £1,500 or more for the Naomi House Children's Hospice, based in Winchester, Hampshire, UK. We are also pleased to announce that we have exceeded our target and we intend on presenting Naomi House with a cheque very shortly! We would like to take this opportunity to thank EVERYBODY who donated money! It will make a huge difference to a lot of children!

Trial run... This year's trip was a trial. We learnt a lot and we intend on putting this experience into an even bigger, better trip in 2009! We're already looking at routes, camping prices and everything else associated to hopefully cater for a slight increase in numbers for next year's trip! Keep your eyes on this site for further details in early 2009!
